The Air conditionning system in the room did not work

We found it to be close to facilities for shopping and banking. It was a good centre from which to visit the Puy de Dome area.

It seemed a bit tired and could do with a little updating.

Nice hotel with well decorated rooms and very good positioning in the city. Pleasant staff, willing to help and inform. Very clean and warm room.

Poor breakfast with premeasured portions of croissants and bread.

The staff were very helpful and polite. the towels were changed daily

There were no coffee or tea making facilities in our room. This was our first experience of this in any hotel, and we found it very dissapointing as the breakfast was very expensive at the hotel.

Hotel room was clean and quiet and in a convenient location.

Common areas could use an update.

I stayed at Hotel de L'Europe to attend the annual short film festival in Clermont-Ferrand. The hotel was good value, clean, refurbished, the staff were friendly.

I stayed at Hotel de L'Europe to attend the annual short film festival in Clermont-Ferrand. The hotel was good value, clean, refurbished, the staff were friendly; my only problems were: location (30 mins walk in the snow to the convention!) and the heating was very week (I froze in my room!) I won't be booking this hotel again because these 2 factors, it made my trip uncomfortable.
